So unique! Fun piece of pottery which whimsically plays off the English Chinoiserie, Japanese, Korean pottery of the 1940s-1950s. Moon, globe, round vase. Approximately 7" tall and 9" at widest. Has crazing texture from age. Red peonies, black peonies, green leaves. Look closer~ these are not painted on, but textured applique/ flocking! Painted details. Pearls have been applied for creative detail. Many pearls have fallen off with time, but several remain. You can see where they were placed and could restore or leave and appreciate this poetic aesthetic. Great in a girly, femme, or opulent decor. Plays well with Mid Century Modern. Cottage-Core.
